I has gone to visit a friend and as she saw me off, we saw what i consider the most gruesome sight i jhave seen this year, a little child barely three years, floating on a pond nearby, DEAD!. I was shocked, angry, annoyed and perplexed at the same time, how could such a young chap so full of life probably some few hours ago come to such a dramatic unexpected end, we inquired from people and it was then we heard the sad news.
Someone must have dumped the innocent child beside the pond at midnight as people living close to the area said they heard the young chap screaming from like 4 am to 6am this morning some bricklayers even said they saw the young chap when they were going to work early in the morning but they were afraid to carry it because of what the police would say.
As i write the young chap lay floating on the pond DEAD, probably dumped by an heartless mother who felt she has no need of the young boy, and so the next thing was neglect which later led to the death of the boy.

I bleed inward for this boy and many other children in Africa who suffer endlessly because of war, carelessness on the part of theire parents, poverty, bad government policies and so on. I even feel more rotten because i can't do anything for the dead child, i Can't inform the police for fear of involvement in a criminal case, i can't call an ambulance because such luxuries don't exist in my community.
So, i left the horrible scene dejected like several other people with my back to the floating child
